It all started in 2018, when owners, Raffaele and Melinda Mele, were talking at home about their life long dreams. Raffaele said:
"I always wanted to open an Italian Import store".
Melinda responded "Clifton Park needs a good Italian Deli."

The Mele family migrated from Cardinale, Italy in 1973... landing in Long Island first, then to Troy, NY.
With 10 children in tow, they struggled to survive and put their passion for their culture and food into action.
All of the boys eventually got into the food business.
Raffaele Mele has owned several pizzerias in the capital region over the years. With over 30 years experience he strives to bring his favorite Calabrese traditions to Clifton Park.
Melinda Mele grew up in Mamaroneck, NY and moved here in 2007. Her great grandmother and grandfather (Panfilo & Giconda Santangelo) migrated to the U.S. during the Depression from San Valentino, Italy.
